Fantastic service, presentation, and attention to detail! Visited at 1030 on a Saturday and immediately noticed they specialize in pourover with the detailed notes of flavours on their menu. It is a wee walk uphill, but worth a visit. I ordered for here and the atmosphere is quaint. Ordered a house Rose latte and the flavours were very subtle but worked together. Barista noticed I was documenting my coffee experience and also provided a sample of their Ethiopian pourover - excellently extracted. It excites me to see local Hong Kongers dive into coffee - truly is a completing piece, Missing Piece Cafe.

Very nice cozy cafe on uphill road. A typical and lovely Hong Kong life set up, love it. Our toasts on sourdough bread were delicious, well presented and served fast. My Piccolo was very good.

My favourite cafe in HK! Love their delicate, high quality and fresh food, perfectly done hand drip coffee, super friendly service and chill atmosphere. That’s why they have lots of regulars! Definitely should support this local independent cafe.

We stumbled upon this charming little breakfast spot in the heart of Sai Ying Pun, and it was exactly what we were looking for! Craving a Western-style breakfast, we weren’t disappointed — everything was delicious, and the coffee was absolutely awesome. Though the place is small, it’s packed with character, with quirky decor and interesting little details that catch your eye. The atmosphere felt cozy and inviting, making it a perfect start to our day. Plus, the prices were very affordable, which made the experience even better. If you’re in the area and looking for a satisfying breakfast and great coffee, this spot is a must-visit!

#toast 489 — had work around the area and found this place on google maps. It’s on the way up the hill and it’s a little steep, but the climb was quite worth it for this small yet cozy coffee and brunch spot. Their bread was multigrain and seemed to be slightly seasoned with some seaweed — very nice “char” flavor that it adds to the overall meal. Everything was well executed and the egg was very fragrant with the truffle oil. There’s this essence of “hong Kong flavor” that seems to be oddly familiar - it’s like a take on an existing cha chaan teng morning menu that consists of egg, bread and protein. Overall it’s a lovely place and I got my coffee to-go; the staff were really kind and seemed to have a few regulars too. Thank you so much :) Follow @nomkakaii on Instagram for more toast travels!

A cute little cafe. I ordered an Iced Vanilla Matcha Latte, nice quality bitter matcha - barista whisked it fresh. Seating is very limited as it is a small cafe so I was asked how long I’d be til I finished to free up a seat. Food that people were ordering looked pretty good.

One of these little HK gems I wish I found sooner. The atmosphere is exceptionally chill and relaxing. Soft music is playing in the background and the lightning is just right. I had a great little piccolo that came with a heart. They also have vegan and gluten free cupcakes. I'll make sure to try out next time.

The vegan muffins are very good! It’s not a vegan cafe, but all muffins are vegan And the flavours are very special!! Classic soy sweet soup dessert (腐竹糖水) Red Date (with杞子inside, taste exactly like the sweet soup dessert) Coffee is great, glad that they have soy milk Most of the cafe in Hong Kong only have cow’s milk and oat milk It’s a good place to chill Lunch hour will be busy, if you want to sit and work a bit better come after lunch I bought some homemade biscotti Three flavours, matcha, chocolate and original They are all great and not sweet at all. If you order coffee, will get to try a plain one that comes with it
